UPDATED PROFILE: Well I really am a stay-at-home mom now except I am only staying at home with my doggies, Boo and Puppie! They do love me so. They do not ask for very much other than me to feed them and take them on an occasional walk and a pat on the head. I, being the exceptional mom that I am, do sing and dance for them, and they adore me for that. So, life is good in my empty nest. I miss my baby girls ever so much, but I plan to enjoy the next 20+ good years! Old Profile: I am a stay-home mom. I love running my children to all of their extra curricula activities. I love to cook and shop for antiques. I love my girls, my dogs and my happy home! No, that is my make-belief life! I have been teaching school for 29 years. I hope to retire in one more year, but I have two beautiful daughters who think they need a lot of stuff to survive. I would not change a thing. My road has been a bumpy one but it has taken me to a wonderful place!

Well... What's Next?

I moved my baby girl in at Mississippi State yesterday and it was with bitter sweet emotions.  One, I am sad that I have no one at home to be responsible for, and two, I am not sure what to do with myself.  I retired in May and my head keeps telling me, "You Are LATE to DUTY!", but my heart and my body are here ironing and grinning like a possum!  My doggies, Boo and Puppie are ever-so-happy!  I haven't started watching soaps yet.  I am relishing in the quiet of the house ( or emptiness), I haven't decided which one of the two it is!  I am excited that both of my girls are about to embark on a fresh and new start in their lives.  I hope and PRAY for their safety and health, but I also pray for their happiness and to be successful.
 So, what's next for the HoneyBee?  I have notta clue, but I am ready to see where this journey takes me!

Closing of 2011

Typical Saturday for me and Bronco.  I am busy as a bee and Bronco is snoozing in the recliner!  I try to make everything as noisy as I possibly can!
  Busy today= getting those black eye peas ready!  I think we will eat them today and tomorrow!
